Stoplog Flood Barrier
Fast-deploy, stackable flood stop logs for doorways and critical entrances
Our stoplog flood barrier uses fixed side channels and interlocking panels that stack to the required protection height--ideal for frequent flood events where speed, storage, and reusability matter.
Stackable Protection
Modular panels for flexible height adjustment
What is a Stoplog Flood Barrier?
A stoplog flood barrier (also called flood stop logs, stop log barriers, or stackable flood barriers) is a modular flood protection system for openings. Permanent side posts/guide channels are anchored to the structure. During a flood warning, panels are stacked into the channels to create a barrier up to the target water level. After the risk passes, panels are removed and stored.
Best for
- Sites that need protection only during storms
- Multiple entrances that require quick deployment
- Locations that want unobstructed access in daily operation
Where Stoplogs Are Commonly Used
Typical applications across commercial, industrial, and critical infrastructure
Doorway Protection
Commercial and industrial doors
Garage Entrances
Carpark and basement access
Loading Docks
Warehouse bays and logistics
Utility Rooms
Pump rooms and equipment areas
Substations
Critical equipment rooms
Basement Stairwells

Standardized multi-site deployment
How the Stoplog System Works
Five key components working together for reliable flood protection
Side Channels / Guide Posts
Fixed to the structure to resist water pressure and keep panels aligned.
Interlocking Stoplog Panels
Panels stack vertically; interlocking edges help stability and sealing.
Compression / Locking Mechanism
Top clamp or locking device secures the stack and compresses seals.
Sealing System
Replaceable side and bottom gaskets reduce leakage and improve reliability.
Optional Base Plate / Threshold
Improves bottom sealing, protects gaskets, and helps with uneven floors.
Complete Protection
Key Advantages of Stoplog Barriers
Why stoplogs are the preferred choice for flexible flood protection
Fast Deployment
Panels install only when needed--suitable for repeated flood warnings.
Flexible Protection Height
Increase or reduce height by adding/removing panels.
Easy Storage
Panels store compactly, ideal for sites with limited space.
Reusable and Maintainable
Gaskets are replaceable; panels are designed for repeated use.
Scalable Across Multiple Entrances
Standardize on one system and deploy where needed.

Material Options
Aluminum vs Stainless Steel: Choose the right material for your application
Popular Choice
Aluminum Stoplog Flood Barriers
Premium
Stainless Steel Stoplog Flood Barriers
Quick Guidance
If deployment speed and handling are the priority, aluminum is often preferred. If the environment is highly corrosive/industrial or demands higher robustness, stainless steel can be selected.

Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about stoplog flood barriers
Are stoplog flood barriers watertight?
Stoplogs are designed to minimize leakage using compression and gaskets. Performance depends on installation quality and surface conditions.
How do I choose the protection height?
Use your target water level / risk requirement. We can recommend panel count based on your site and photos.
Can stoplogs be used for a garage door?
Yes. Garage/carpark entrances are one of the most common use cases for stoplog flood barriers.
What if my floor is uneven?
We can address uneven floors with base plates, leveling, and sealing strategies. Share a floor close-up photo for the best recommendation.
How fast can it be deployed?
Deployment time depends on opening width and height. Stoplogs are designed for quick manual installation with basic training.
Aluminum or stainless steel--what's better?
Aluminum is lighter and often chosen for frequent manual deployment. Stainless steel is used for harsher environments or higher robustness needs.
Is the system reusable?
Yes. Panels are removable and reusable; gaskets are replaceable maintenance parts.
Do you provide drawings and installation guidance?
Yes. We provide drawings and installation guidance based on your opening dimensions and photos.
